It depends. Let's say your reading something German, Danish or even Russian, it doesn't really matter whether you read it in Dutch or English. For any any other language I'd recommend English.

De werkelijkheid is dat Nederlands gewoon niet echt een literaire taal is. Over het algemeen probeer ik me zoveel mogelijk te onttrekken aan het Nederlands, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. Zelf woon ik ook al bijna tien jaar niet meer in Nederland, wat bij zou kunnen dragen aan mijn mening, desu.
