Anyhow, they both work great as myths showing the struggle against Causality. Unfortunately, I think their answers are both wrong. Human will can't overcome causality. Neither can man's share in the Logos.

It's as Paul says in Romans 7, we are in a war with our desires, instincts, and lack of knowledge. We are saved from this by the Logos, yet not the small light burning in man, but by the Logos itself in Christ. We die a death of personhood in Sin, and are ressurected to freedom in Christ.

Christ drives out the Legion within, sending them into the swine. We see the self destructive nature of the Legion in how the swine run off the hill.

However, since both works are incomplete and neither Guys or Khellus succeed, they both work as guiding to this insight.
