What's a good book to learn special and general relativity that doesn't require a mathematical background or high intelligence?

I just read the chapter of The Fabric of the Cosmos dealing with it and I want something more in depth.

I'm reading it at the moment, at 20, and it's great. Perhaps his later observations won't hit home all the time for younger people, and that's why you would benefit more from reading it later, but then you can reread the last volumes when you are older.
I'd say read it. It's affected my life, and it is beautifully written.

Hmm...I guess I'll try a dictionary, maybe Proust is just out of my league. I'm not very far in, still in the Combray section and he's ranting (albeit beautifully) about the town and his aunt, I'm hoping once characters get introduced and dialogue starts springing up that I'll have more luck.
