I'm new to /lit/ (I've mostly been an /a/sshole or /v/ermin till now) but I've read books all my life because I enjoy them and take great pleasure and relaxation from finishing a book. Yet here people seem more concerned with philosophy, intellect or escaping from "SJW" politics. What was the last book you read because of a striking cover, or a captivating blurb or even just for the hell of it?
