The love interest in my novel (pic related) looks like what I find attractive in a woman. If I ever manage to publish it and get a readership, I can guarantee many people will be put-off when she's introduced in Book 2 due to how much I force her into the plot. I don't care.

My protagonist does have elements of myself in him, but he's only the negative aspects similar to Holden and Salinger, and he suffers a fuckton because of those flaws.
