You'll often see Postmodernists, whom are the most vulnerable to Nihilism reject all of this. They refuse to take care of their physical bodies, believing themselves to be only a mind. They see sex as hurtful and evil, a lower instinct. They see Nationalism/Tribalism as evil, thus they feel alienated with the world.
They isolate themselves away in their fantasies because despite their beliefs, deep inside they cannot help as animals to yearn for what they are missing in life.
