I am becoming increasingly interested in literary tragedy. Besides the obvious Aristotle's "Poetics" what are some other authors or books worth looking into to understand tragedy better? I'm especially interested in the evolution of tragedy into the contemporary age. I don't mind the medium (be it literature, film, even anime or manga), I want to learn about tragedy in all its artistic iterations.
