While it may sound like I’m trying to diminish the individual here, that’s the opposite of my intention. I have no respect for the meatbags that we all don at birth, but I think if we’re just these invisible riders buckled to a body, we might as well as try to change the world around us to make it more suitable for ourselves. Why should someone born into a meat bag with specific interests and of whatever wealth be consigned to a life of wealth or poverty based on just the results of the constellations of chance itself.

If life was a casino, then our capitalist society has largely handed over most of the chips to random people and enslaved a good amount of the population to work in exchange for those, living hand to hand. It’s not a game when there’s no competition, and the simple fact that we are born in these faulty meat sacks, impotently riding along, means maybe we should try to make the ride as pleasurable for each other as possible.

There’s no point in holding onto this identity forged by material manifestations. I can’t believe people are this fucking stupid, that they don’t bother to even read or try to understand this kind of stuff. The whole point of life is distancing yourself, as the passenger, from the material form that everyone is familiar with, in order to see the bigger picture.
