Religions that teach reincarnation don't have this issue.
People are motivated to do the right thing because they're just going to end up back here, but as a helpless baby, and with amnesia of their former life.
The "problem" is that the religions that teach this aren't usually motivated to form violent armies that impose their beliefs on others, and so in the natural course of events, they tend to die out.

I am looking to dive into Niet Niet. Who can recommend books translated after the work of two italians that cleaned the works from his sisters drivel. There are so many translations one does not know where to begin.
