I really like any work of art that meditates on the passage of time and the ephemerality of things. Who are the best poets/playwrights/novelists/etc. who concerned themselves with this topic?

>Gerascophobia is an abnormal or incessant fear of growing older or ageing (senescence).[1]
>Due to humans being mortality salient, sufferers will often feel as though aging is the first sign that their immune systems are starting to weaken, making them more vulnerable and prone to diseases. They view aging as a human flaw or form of self-obliteration, rather than as a natural progression in life.

Who are some writers/poets who were huge deals back in their day, but are completely forgotten now for one reason or another?

I am obsessed with the passage of time, entropy, decay, death, and the ephemerality of life. Who should I read, who shares my affinities in this regard?

What is the best work of cultural history about the concept of time itself? I know it's kind of a vague topic but I'm curious if there's a work that relates and analyzes the ways various cultures and civilizations thought of the concept of time, and the ways these concepts interacted with other elements of those cultures. I can't help but be obsessed with the passage of time, so I was wondering how various cultures throughout history thought of it as well.

Besides the obvious ones (Magic Mountain, ISOLT, Tartar Steppe), which books concern themselves with the passage of time?
