Jin-Roh is great, compared to 99% of anime that is only fit for degenerates with the mind of a 7 year old girl. Jin-Roh though basic and often overly pretentious in its symbolism and themes (that is to say constantly throwing it in your face and rehashing the simple red riding hood story as if it's genius). One example is how he's standing in front of the Wolf enclosure. Still a masterpiece for an anime, never seen anything else like it.

Though of course given the basic deficiency's of anime as artistic expression every time you watch it it gets worse. Reason why I say "masterpiece *for an anime".
