What happened to the Bret Easton Ellis podcast? Is it suspended, or dead?

It was like a masterclass about books and films, and I love people who constantly have ideas about the world and the evolution of culture.
One of the recurring themes was BEE's theory of a post-Empire VS Empire world, with people like Madonna, Beyonce, Tom Cruise or DiCaprio representing the Empire (myth, control, grandiosity), and others like Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, Pavement, Eminem or Banksy representing the post-Empire era (transparency, playing with fame as a toy). http://www.newsweek.com/charlie-sheen-winning-66173

>Do you guys know of any similar podcast of culture criticism by someone who's an artist himself?
