awkward is fine and can be a benefit if you turn it into goofy/funny...

boring and coward are problems.
You shouldn't think of yourself as boring if you are doing what you love and find interesting...do stuff that excites you, and communicate that excitement to others---it doesn't matter what it is, really.

Communism is a materialism:

Why didn't communists understand that their Utopia dream can't be realized until the technologic and material structure of the world actually changes? Why did they bother with a top down approach (revolution) instead of a bottom-up approach (material & techno progress) ?
