I don't care if its slop. I read it and loved it. What are the best Crichton books I should read next?

I absolutely love Michael Chrichton, and am bummed that I've read everything he wrote. Is there any other "hard sci-fi" writers/works I should be aware of? I absolutely love realistic takes on unrealistic concepts.

Is it just my perception or did this motherfucker not realize that fossilized bone is actually ROCK and no longer really BONE?

This wasn't very good. Bland, stale, stiff writing. Why was this so big? A social phenomenon? Or simply the first book to have something like dinosaurs in it?

Newfound respect for the film, though. They salvaged it and did a great job.

What do you mean? Jurassic Park is pretty generic too but that got a movie, hell most YA's are generic but people know Holes, Harry Potter and the Hunger Games
