Hey /lit/. I'm studying the relation between the visual media and writing. Is there a perfect way to write a visual scene in terms of mood, colour tint and music?
Don't tell me you have never thought about this.

So what does /lit/ think of Neil Gaiman?

So, in Norway, every graduate class(more or less) has this thing called "special subject". It's a major part of the final grade, and I've decided to write about Neil Gaiman, with my main focus on his Sandman series.

So anyway, I was wondering what /lit/ thought about the series, and Gaiman? What makes it special, how does it differ from other graphic novels? Why do you think it's good? Why do you think it's shit?

Thank you in advance, if anyone is kind enough to answer.

I've heard a lot of good things about Neil Gaiman and I want to check him out. Where would you recommend I start?

Thank you in advance.
