unironically this. I didn't like how Dune ended in the first book and was kind of wary at the start of the second book because I really didn't like Paul however in this book Paul became an actual character with struggles and flaws instead of simply a god. If someone enjoyed Dune for the most part I would also highly recommend them to at least read Messiah too. >>18609072

I read Dune for the first time in the winter. It started snowing 3 days afterwards and starting getting really windy. I imagined the snow being sand and I felt so hyped I went outside and thought about the book.
