The only interesting plot line in this book was Don Gatelys. If there was an edited version with just his story this book would be 700 pages shorter and 83% better.

Just finished this garbage. Nearly 1100 pages of pointless bullshit. Wish I would have chosen pretty much any other novel instead of this dreck.

The only remotely interesting main characters were Don Gately and Mario.
