It basically boiled down to be a version of Quine's Naturalized epistemology. A few axioms are assumed so that the scientific method can commence, then it retroactively validates the axioms and uses a little bit of Utilitarianism to fine-tune and better ground the whole thing.
Jay kept screeching that logic had to come from the hand of god himself otherwise logic wasn't real. It's funny because Jay is constantly citing church fathers as axiomatic authorities, and yet when you ask him why those fathers were right he'll say "because divine revelation bro we believe in a revealed doctrines lmao!" which makes anyone with a brain go "so... you literally have no basis for your beliefs beyond feelz > reals" at which point Jay calls you a retard for not having read 100,000 pages of ecumenical council documents and declares he's won the debate.
