It basically boiled down to be a version of Quine's Naturalized epistemology. A few axioms are assumed so that the scientific method can commence, then it retroactively validates the axioms and uses a little bit of Utilitarianism to fine-tune and better ground the whole thing.
Jay kept screeching that logic had to come from the hand of god himself otherwise logic wasn't real.
