What is your opinion on Flowers for Aglernon?

What's wrong with scifi?

I randomly got TMJ 5 days ago. I think I'm going to shoot myself in the jaw to relieve the pain.

Hey /lit/,
I'm reading Flowers for Algernon. I didn't realize I could enjoy literature this much. Any recommendations in the same vein?

I just finished reading Flowers for Algernon. I thought that the characters were pretty bland, but the way that Charlie discovered the world around him was interesting. His descent back into idiocy was the part that I least enjoyed. It just did exactly what I thought it would. It was uninteresting. If I had to say the favourite thing about it, it was the connection that Charlie shared with Algernon.

What are /lit/'s thoughts on the book?

Sorry about my shitty critique. I'm new at this. I wasn't really interested in reading until some experimental surgery was done on my brain at Beekman university.

Has anyone here read the short story 'Flowers for Algernon'? I've just finished it. I must say, it was very moving. Thoughts?

Thinking about buying a new book. Someone on here recommended Flowers for Algernon. Never heard of it. Plot sounds interesting and original (to me), but more opinions from avid book readers (perish the thought) would be nice.
