Thoughts on audiobooks? I was reading about people doing a 52 books in 52 weeks challenge, and a lot of them mentioned listening to audiobooks. Frankly, I think it's vastly inferior to reading. You can't really dwell on a profound line or reread something you didn't quite catch without rewinding or pausing, which I can't imagine many people truly do. You'll also get preconceived notions of the characters from voices the narrator does instead of making your own. It kind of just seems like a way for people to claim they read a lot or have read well known books to seem smart.
