I don't usually like bawdy comedies from ancient times but Aristophanes has given me the dirtiest giggles. Plenty of rude songs, cheeky put-downs and one-liners, political commentary that isn't exactly irrelevant today and strange looks from other people when you read this on the train. Genuinely funny. I want more ancient comedies please.
