This was some Kino arc, although it broke the readers back when it was published. Imagine Getting Riverfarm, week after week, for like two months, while waiting for the elections result. Still, basicaly every scene with Belavierr is Kino. Finally some good arc for Roka.

As for the the Drake plot, Riverfarm kinda had it coming, if you recall 6.33E and the council in Manus that started the Witch Arc. The siege of Liscor had to have consequences.

By the way, during the council in Manus...have you figured it out? The part that was very subtly implied? I don't mean anything about the plan against the North, but the scene itself, what was hidden in plain sight. If you didn't, don't worry. You will be surprised later on. I personally hadn't the first time, but it's subtle as hell.
