So I read this recently and absolutely loved it and actually didn't find the characters all that bad. People always say that Clarke can't write characters at all, but the characters in this seemed fine to me, if not especially great. They all had their own unique motivations and quirks and personalities and at least a bit of an arc. What exactly is so awful about these characters?
