I was a bit freaked out when I first read it as they were bit more gore intense than red wall but they were pretty good series.

My grandmother used to tell me stories when I was a kid, usual morality lessons, except she was old as fuck and all her stories were from her grandma, meaning they were about forest horrors and vittror and child murder.

When I read myself I really liked Harry Potter, a horror book about some kid that becomes a vampire, and the Deltora series. Nothing amazing, I know, but I was a kid.
