I started this expecting something in the vein of Greek mythology or Grimm Fairy Tales, but really it is mostly humorous, it is as if Diogenes and Aristophanes converted to Islam and then collaborated on a series. Also contrary to popular belief, Burton's copious notes are mostly about Arabic terms and idioms (Christian and Muslim), Muslim beliefs, and cultural customs. Not generally about something sexual unless pertaining to that (although his early note on the black cucking meme explaining that "debauched" prefer negroes for having large "parts" made me lol)
