Now i’ve only read translations, but tolstoy was a much better writer. Everything flows so beautifully with his novels. Dosto’s writing seemed clunky compared. And since I value writing more than “muh themes” and “muh psychology”, tolstoy wins easily. Dosto should of just wrote philosophy/psychology books instead of novels. Sorry!
