Start with this.
>How did he manage to refute Shankara, Plato, Plotinus, Aquinas, Guenon, Evola, Kant, Hegel and Marx?
He was able to recognize the Spirit for what it was: a mere apparition, a ghost needing exorcising. Thus, Stirner was able to retroactively refute almost all the philosophers and mystics throughout history. His non-dualism allows him to effortlessly refute dualists, pluralists and monists alike - leaving only the unspeakable, nameless Unique at the forefront. Commies, socialists, “anarchists,” fascists, Butterfly and jannies all fear him.

This was really underwhelming
I understand why Stirner was important in anarchist tought but he's literally just a contrarian pseud.
>HURR DURR EVERYTHING NOT ME IS BAD >:(
No wonder he was a loser in real life lmao

Petty bourgeois individualist intellectual is spot on. Not that Stirner was wrong, but he certainly was a navel gazer, the cover of pic related is enough to convey, he was obsessed with his own butthole. Most men take egoism as a given and then move on to greater affairs, but not he, it's almost like he felt the need to justify his own egoism, what a spook that would be.

Is this the best edition or is it the Cambridge version? You can never go wrong with a Cambridge edition its just that this title seems more proper
