It's not even surprising Camus teaches this garbage stoic crap "just push the rock happily that's the greatest fuck you to the universe" and simultaneously opposed violent revolutions but took himself to be The Rebel. Sartre at least was willing to support revolutions, his Marxism fits his existentialist will to change which is more transformative than Camus. Sartre takes Will to Power from Nietzsche seriously, whereas Camus stops at Amor Fati. Nietzsche was better than Camus because he didn't stop at Amor Fati, he actually taught Will to Power. Camus just feels so defeatist, and saying "Actually I'm the TRULY rational logical one here and you guys are delusional if you think you can shudder the boulder off your shoulders!" is so weak. Truly life-denying, the man lived as he preached, not as a true rebel like his fellow existentialists but as a wimpy centrist/liberal in the end.

>my life will exist eternally or repeat eternally
Legitimately terrifying. Please just let me rest in peace one day.
