Just finished Shadow of the Torturer and started on Claw of the Conservation Effort and I have to ask why the fuck they started it out in a new place after what seems like a long in-universe time between novels. Do they ever explain where the fuck they are? The whole first book turned out to be a lot more accessible prose-wise than /sffg/ neckbeards would have had me believe, but the beginning of the second seems like its starting out soupy as shit and is lacking the critical expository information that would have made the thing ENGAGING.

Uncle Ted was influence pretty famously by a guy called Jaques Ellul, so you should check him out if you're looking for more anti-tech stuff to read. Also Ted has been writing since he has been in prison, responding to critiques and altering some aspects of his worldview

Zerzan is a sort of left-wing Kaczynski and they corresponded with each other after Ted was arrested.

Not sure if this is up your alley but theres a pretty active anti-tech subculture on twitter. Just look out for people with pine trees in their name. There's actually a primitivist/anti-tech podcast launching called PrimCast with some of the better known neo-luddite accounts. I think the people doing it are: @UnabomberCabin, @linkolawave, @Spartanise_II and (I think) @surazkaya but apparently one dropped out (not sure who) so I don't know what's happening with that

Anyway those accounts are a good inroad to PrimTwitter, which is based almost entirely off of Kaczynski. So if you're interested in that they're a good place to start

Just don't start following in Kaczynski's footsteps after you read this stuff for christ sake. There are far better ways of getting your message out there and barely anyone outside of a niche of autists even remembers what Kaczynski stood for.
