You mean discussing something that isn't literature on a literature board? I don't know, /pol/ seems like a pretty good catch-all to decry something political on /lit/. Moot made those boardnames easy for a reason.

You're creating a dichotomy where /pol/ is right and /lit/ is left. That /pol/ is far right is evident, but that /lit/ is a bastion of liberal thought is baseless. We talk about books, post pics of authors, and argue philosophy which rarely corresponds to contemporary politics. Sure, Wealth of Nations and the Communist Manifesto are fair-game, but it's such a minor component of /lit/ that to take whatever impression you got and apply it to an entire board is ridiculous. Is /gif/ full of moderates? /vg/ libertarian?

Characters like William Buckley have nothing at all to do with literature and when someone says this thread belongs on /pol/, they're right.

There is literally nothing edgy about that picture. Fuck, I'm writing on a laptop right now. It's quite possibly one of the most mundane, status quo ways of relaying text. I don't know when it became okay to misuse the word edgy to put down everything and anything on /lit/, but you have officially brought it over the brink into utter meaninglessness.
