In my junior year of high school one of the exchange student girls literally asked for my number and her friend group came up to me and asked if I thought she was cute and I did not understand what the fuck was happening. I ghosted her, not deliberately but because I had no idea what she wanted or what I should say. Another time that year, a girl in my English class walked over to my seat and started chatting me up out of nowhere and telling me she wanted to get to know me better. I responded cordially but never tried talking to her one on one after that because, again, I had no clue what was going on. I thought it was a prank or something.
It took almost ten fucking years for me to realize they might have been into me. Nothing like that has happened since and I'm steadily approaching wizardhood without ever having so much as held hands.

I made dinner and ate it alone in my room. It was the same slow cooked spicy lemon chicken with noodles that I've had for the last 3 days. It was great! I locked my door so my roommates couldn't walk in on me (not that they ever do haha) and blasted precures while reading a manga. Very enjoyable! I looked at my phone but no one ever contacts me anyway. It's nice! I like my privacy and my alone time! When I was at the gym earlier today I felt a little stared at while I was doing my lifts, but it doesn't matter! I don't know those people anyway! It's about time to go to bed so I can get up early and go to work where I'll have another day just like this one and just like the one before that. When I look at my watch it's only 1 o'clock but when I look at the calendar 3 years have passed. It's cool!
I'm gonna be an old man before I know it! Being alone is the best!
