The map of Beleriand is almost exact replica of the Kalevala map

He stole literally everything from the Finns

>Would you prefer that fantasy books have maps or are you indifferent to them?
Maps are a big plus for me, since the setting and world building a big reason for why I get into fantasy series. There's plenty of fantasy series I've read where the map doesn't add much to the story, but on the whole I think it can't hurt.
>Post your favourite map of a secondary world.
Tolkien's maps will always be my favorites. I'm quite partial to this map of Beleriand, I have a fold out version in my copy of the Silmarillion.
>As always, what are you currently reading?
Empire of Grass by Tad Williams, latest installment of his sequel series (probably tetralogy knowing him) to Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn.
