>oh man I wish the world was still being run by some kind of aristocracy instead of these damn Fordists.

Why do you want to be cultured?

Hello /lit/ I'm going to need a little list of suggestions of books you enjoy personally. To be honest I've read through some of the recommended literature on 4chanlit wikia and it's good enough. But I was wondering what you'd suggest for reading whilst on holiday and on a cramped nine hour flight. All ideas are welcome /lit/

Am I a sick, horrible person if I think that the world depicted in Huxley's "Brave New World" is actually an utopia and not a dystopia?

It would be a better world for all of us, no more feels, only good feels.

It's not like we are free in this world anyways.

I just finished reading A Brave New World. Great book really good. I dont understand the ending, especially the significance of the last lines, "the feet turned towards the right; north, north-east, east, south-east, south, south-south-west; then paused, and after a few seconds, turned as unhurriedly back towards the left. South-south-west, south-south-east, east ..."

What did you take away from the book?
