As history shows, this internal schism within Orthodoxy itself led to the conquest by Mohammedans, the loss of their capitals, reduction of their religion, and retreat from the world, focusing on being 'le secret cave people' instead of evangelist's for Christ's people; the eastern churches ceased to be APO-stolic, and became quite the opposite, in fact.

Get this through your thick skull: "Orthodoxy" is not Christianity. Google "Hesychasm" just as one example of the innovations from the East. "Orthodoxy" just sounds 'traditional' because so many newbies haven't looked into it enough to figure out that it is a well run sham fronting as a version of Christianity that no one can verify (except for Rome, of course, which is much older by virtue of its historical significance) because they get too distracted by the jingle-bells, bearded performers and iCon glitter and lights to dig deeper into its history.
