Hey /lit/, I'm in a class devoted to the Ghost Play.

Our term paper is supposed to be over a play of our own choosing that includes a ghost in it. I thought I could ask for suggestions, if anyone knows of any.

The ones I already know, that we covered in class -
Hamlet
Macbeth
Death of a Salesman
The Spanish Tragedy
Persians
Hecuba
Thyestes

Any help is welcome!

Hey /lit/, I was planning on pretty much blind buying a few books from a publisher's line that I normally enjoy. I'm getting some books from Sun & Moon Press's Sun & Moon Classics series:

>Parties by Carl VanVechten
>Childish Things by Valery Larbaud
>The Road to the World's End by Sigurd Hoel
>Smoke and Other Early Stories by Djuna Barnes
>The Sea-Rabbit: Or, the Artist of Life by Wendy Walker

I have honestly never heard of any of these books or authors, but I thought hey, I need to try new things and they usually publish things I like. And I found them for cheap.

Anyone else ever do this? Or is it a horrible idea? Also, any opinions on the publisher or those books and authors are very welcome.

I freaking adore De Chirico but I see he's already been represented. Well, here's "Multiplication of the Arcs" by a big fan of his, Yves Tanguy, from 1954.

I like it because it's somewhere between metaphysical, surreal, and abstract, yet doesn't seem as derivative as Tanguy's other paintings. And the title is cool.
