Deleuze and co. were mere relayers of CIA LSD Cybernetics, don't be fooled by the tired trappings of old Europe. These ideas owe much more to the times than it is commonly accepted. Gregory Bateson was a huge influence on Deleuze and Guattari and also on Stewart Brand, cyberculture and what later became silicon valley. Despite the countercultural affinities, many of these people, scientists, communalists, acid freak were basically networking with the military industrial complex.
