>Guenon made the distinction between being “saved” (which is a lesser achievement he conceded could be reached purely through the exoteric participation in and fulfillment of Christianity), and on the other hand the attainment of the transcendent, gnosis, moksha.
What does this distinction consist in? Where does he talk about this?

>Why is it that hardcore fantasy readers do not adopt any of the values that their literature promotes?
Let me edit that to connect some dots for you:
>Why is it that [any group] does not practice any of the values that their [any ideal] promotes?

>Hmmm... you're not a rationalist or a materialist, right, anon? If you are not, then that means you are based. If you are, however...
No, no no, my dear, I am not dogmatic with my thinking. There is a truth that is overlapped between the idealist Platon and the materialist Aristotles. Nevertheless, I am young and not foolish enough to abide to a single school of thought. Please tell me, dear anon, where you lie between these two schools of thought.

I never used any social media at all really before 4chan. My friends would pressure me into creating a facebook, Twitter, instagram, etc. I would only use my account to subtly browse what the retarded peers at my school would say. It was never that entertaining, so I put it on the back burner until I became intensely bored. I browsed Reddit because mt close friends did and that was the start of my transition. Reddit was fun for a little bit, but the user interaction isn't satisfying. I left around gamergate when everything became pozzed overnight, and reddit was blocked on my high school's Wi-Fi. I gave 4chan a shot, and I have been here pretty much every day for 6 years. I didn't post for the an entire year and simply lurked. I believe you would be surprised at how many lurkers there are. This place is full of fun characters. It allows everyone to be themselves even if they have no identify to match it up with. Every post is an unnamed character. Whether you can believe it or not, this place has changed me for the better. I was a fucking loser until this place made fun of me to the point of a psychotic breakdown. /fit/ is the best board on the site. I won't even debate this fact. That board has the sole ability to force some level of improvement. People think I'm chad now despite being a nerd. I truly love you all and consider you my friends. I like to think there is are anons I have been replying to and posting with for years almost every day that are my secret best friends I will never ever know. That thought warms my heart.

Reading this made me feel like a Roman patrician chatting it up with a couple of aristocratic bros.
