This unironically happened to me. I've probably taken LSD around 100 times. I sort of abused it. I used to drop and then go for long walks. I especially liked walking around the city or being in very public places. I enjoyed the adrenaline of it all. Headphones in. Listening to music. Total stimulation. I mainly focused on the external rather than the internal because the introspection would make me very critical of myself. But when observing other people there would be so much positivity. Everything felt so alive and almost magical. The universe was full of love and hope and everyone is surviving against the odds. Each and every person was so unique, they had such personality. I loved looking at peoples clothes and what you could tell about then. Everyone had their own amazing story. It was very beautiful. Each trip was an exciting adventure of life and philosophy. They felt very profound and meaningful.

Then I had one trip that changed things. This was September last year. I had been drinking everyday and using cocaine whilst playing poker and drinking at a bar on the weekend. I got coked up on Friday and Saturday and then was in a poker tournament on Sunday. I don't know why but I thought I'd take some LSD to the casino with me. I didn't have any plans to take it I just put it in my bag. I got knocked out early in the tournament and thought fuck it I want more excitement I'll drop some acid so I took 3 tabs. I quickly realised that a casino is not the sort of place you want to be coming up in and I didn't know the people I was with very well so I ditched them and got out of there. I had to push my bike all the way across town to get back home. It was quite an ordeal but pretty manageable.

I then got back home and lay on the floor. All I can say is that I encountered Evil in the very essence of my being and I revelled in it. I felt the devil and it made me happy. It was a cold dark night outside and the wind was howling through my windows (unironically). It was a very eery atmosphere. I kept thinking about power and manipulation. Emotional manipulation. I was gaslighting my manager and I enjoyed it. I was an abusive person. I had the devil inside of me. Evil was the absence of good and existed for its own sake and I was a worshipper (not in a satanic way more in a spiritual way). My therapist at the time told me that I wasn't evil or abusive but that wasn't the point - I thought I was and it thrilled me.

What sort of jobs do people have? I guess there will be a lot of students too

I'm 27, work in university administration and my favourite book is Sutttee by Cormac McCarthy
