Because he was a great writer, negro. Used to think he was just another goofy post-modernist before actually reading his work, then fell on my face when I started. His style, his non-pedantic way with words, his way of explaining and exposing how the overthinking mind works and his sense of humor are just on point. Disregard the "it's for Redditors" or whatever the fuck drivel, his books are a joy to read.
