The easiest way I found to show the lack of substance that the critical theory/postmodern type people have is to ask what of substance has been made by them in the field of politics? With metaphysics and stuff like that you can use use obscurantism to hide the lack of substance from an already obscure field but with politics everyone understands what you are saying. There is nothing you can do to hide the lack of substance. Either you have policies and proposals or you don't.
