I started writing poetry under a pseudonym a few days ago.
I haven’t written in many, many years.
I don’t care that it sounds angsty, I’m just happy that I’m writing again. I just wrote this; feel free to nitpick and call me trash. Again, I’m just happy I somehow am writing again.

I’m on the moon
I’m floating there
Your atmosphere
Is hard to share
I cannot breathe
I beg for air
And if you leave
Then I’ll die soon

But now it’s been
Some days
Some years
Some restless nights
Some endless tears
And battered
Bruised
With nought to lose
It’s me alone
Still standing here
