What is the difference between a religion in ascent and one in decline, besides numbers?

People say that Decline of the West was prescient and prophetic, but what did it really predict? Give some concrete examples

According to Spengler, isnt the entire world now consumed by the west, and somehow part of the west? If so, doesnt that mean the entire world is going to decline and die? What will come afterwards?
Does he address this in man and technics? I want to pick it up but it's ridiculously expensive.

It's because there is nothing left to do other than science and technology. Everything else has been exhausted. Art and philosophy are just regurgitating and refashioning the dead ends that they reached decades ago. Nothing new is being made or thought.
