This tells me what I suspected all along, you are not a female, you are not a lesbian, a female would probably know that sexual activity (even penetration) does not necessarily break the hymen, a lesbian would almost certainly know this, seeing as most (and in fact the most popular) forms of lesbian intercourse are very likely to leave the hymen intact, it would be very, very hard to be a sexually active lesbian and not understand the difference between virginity and the presence of a hymen.
Conclusion: you are not a female, and you are certainly not a lesbian. Plus wherever you grew up probably had poor sex education. As such I will assume you are a 35 year old man named herman, and refer to you as such, and I hope the rest of /lit/ will join me.
