Yes. It focuses on exercises that are intended to relieve one of the default assumptions and mindsets one is raised with because it seeks to 'awaken' one to become a conscious being. It's one of the more well-known works of 20thC Occultism so the subjects within it are at least tangentially related to Hermeticism but it is not an explicitly Hermetic text.

Hey, /lit/, you seemed like the guy to ask, as my second most likely source is /x/.

I'm looking for suggestions for audio lectures on philosophy. Audiobooks are okay, too.

Currently, I listen to Manly Hall, Alan Watts, and Stephan Hoeller, and I highly recommend all three if you are interested in mythology, mysticism, and comparative religion. I've just begun a Joseph Campbell torrent as well.

I'm curious to see your suggestions
