Disagree. We only elaborated some of these ideas within a tiny fraction of our existence as a species. That doesn't mean we where not being affected by them the entire time to say that it's human nature assumes a great deal.

Agree. But this needs to be broken down. There is internal which we seem to accept psychoanalysis can explain at least some of. Then there is the material world of objects which many have talked about such as Hediegger. But none of these ideas account for both internal and external. The obvious way round that is a form of objectivism. That's where Harman comes in.
