As you go along, taking care not to interrupt a creative outburst. Just blurt it out.
Sometimes when writing out dreams, they make no sense of course, but later you can hammer it into something that works, even if you edit it out to 10% of its former self. I think of them as two different gears sometimes

Wisdom can come with age and experience. Though some deflect learning any no matter what age they reach or how many experiences they have.
