I need some good books to read /lit/ I haven't really been doing much reading lately and seeing as I can't count manga, yeah I guess fiction would be preferred in this case but other genres are welcome, I'd just like a good read. Thanks.

Metamorphosis

The first Stephen King book I ever read was The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon when I was about 12. I was hooked after that.
Pet Sematary, Salem's Lot, Cell, Misery, IT, and The Shining are all good books to start with.

My favourites are The Green Mile, The Tomyknockers and The Stand, but none of them are good ones to start with.
