Maybe where you live but in my uni I took a couple of classes that went into Freud’s theories (guided by his actual writing) and even took a class focused on his texts (where we went in chronological order reading a lot of what he wrote and discussing it). And I’m sure Freud is still taught in countries such as Mexico and Argentina.

Isn't the point of religion to have faith? If you were religious you wouldn't care whether or not you could scientifically prove the existence of God. Sort of like true love, or something like that.
