The biggest meme recommendation people make. It is tiresome propaganda in which you will learn nothing but how Xi wants to appear to political and business interests. That may have some value, but it isn't worth reading the hundreds of pages of full, repetitive speeches all written in the insufferable hollow grandiosity of communist party prose. They may have ditched the eight-legged essay, but communist party speeches and documents follow their own perfunctory structure and salutations that make you want to blow your brains out. I feel sorry for anyone who buys these thinking they will learn about Chinese politics. I have to assume anyone recommending it either hasn't read it or is such a maximalist that they are willing to force people to read the War & Peace of party agitprop for minimal reward. If you want to learn about Chinese politics, then save your time and read Saich's Governance and Politics of China instead.

>Following the digital revolution, we need to reformulate Schmitt's words on sovereignty yet again: Sovereign is he who commands the shitstorms of the Net.
>Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit describes a via dolorosa. In contrast, the phenomenology of the digital knows nothing of the dialectical pain of thinking. It might be called the Phenomenology of "Like."
