Literally every literary agent I submit my Scifi manuscript to, says they are looking for work by and featuring "BIPOC, Gay or transgender or female voices, voices from the disability community, and that preference for work to be represented must come from those categories."

I don't have a problem with diversity, I'm a progressive, but this shit is insane, everything has to be and is favored if your manuscript represents tiny minority groups. I fear for the fact that my two main characters are white, and one happens to be a white male, and that they may find me to be a racist simply because I happened to picture them that way.

Has anyone else encountered this in trying to get published? Not to mention the insane pickiness these agents have when evaluating work.
